I hate how they handled death of characters badly. I hate how that they never show Tara’s true death. It’s worst character death in television history. It’s make me feel bad for Rutina who work hard and never got proper respect that she deserved to. And fact that I hate how her mother Lettie Mae have her own subplot that went too long and even through it’s end decently, it’s still pointless. And I hate how Violet get crappy true death. Very weak writing to write her character end like that. She was 800 year old vampire so she should be stronger. Lazy writing. And Alcide’s death was really undeveloped but I really don’t care about his character so his death never bother me but… at same time I feel like that death is really sloppy.
There were other shows this year that handled death of a character better than True Blood did this year. I think that death of a character would impact on characters on both show better than this show did. And I wouldn’t surprise if they did. I would never name characters for other shows because that would be spoilers. So I am really vague about how they handled characters’s death better than this show did.

I wish Alcide had lived, so he could realize the truth about Sookie and he could have told her off for wasting his time when from the beginning she’s only ever really cared about Bill.  I wish I could rewrite the show so that Alcide had NEVER been attracted to Sookie, gotten with Tara instead, or Debbie had been glamored out of her addiction and he could have stayed with her (and then Tara could have stayed with Benedict (“Eggs”) or Naomi).

I was never crazy about Alcide but I really lost all kinds of respect for his character after he became Sookie’s bf. She literally murdered his first love with a shotgun, disposed of the remains, lied about the murder, and then went on with her life like nothing happened like a psycho. Alcide had no depth as a character whatsoever.
