I love it because the dream is the result of Eric’s cheekiness in tricking Sookie into drinking his blood and on the flip side of that when Godric is about to meet the sun it shows Eric as the complete opposite. He is vulnerable and you can see his heart is breaking into a million pieces. I think its the first time you see him as not just the evil sex god, but as a human!
